We are looking for an experienced PE Licensed Engineer to join one of our clients as a lead engineer on utility scale solar and on water facilities around the Denver area.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design and engineering of utility-scale solar projects and water facilities.
- Develop and review electrical schematics and layout drawings.
- Conduct site assessments and analyze data for feasibility.
- Utilize software for energy modeling and design (PVsyst, AutoCAD).
- Ensure designs comply with regulations and codes, prepare and submit permit applications.
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams.
- Provide technical support during construction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related degrees
- PE license in Colorado required
- Minimum of 3 years in solar design engineering, focusing on utility-scale projects.
- Experience with FKM for arc flash analysis.
- Proficiency in solar design software (PVsyst, AutoCAD).
- Understanding of electrical and structural engineering principles.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (NEC, IEEE).
