Overview:
Our client is a successful commercial solar advisory company based in Denver, specializing in the advising on and implementing solar and battery storage projects for commercial projects across the whole of the USA.
Following continued success they are growing the team with an dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager. This Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing projects in Colorado and California, with a primary focus on rooftop installations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, commercial solar, and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. They should also have a solid understanding of the construction process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of a projects construction, providing strategic insight.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, vendors, and clients, to drive project success and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. In sometimes remote locations.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.
- Mentor and support junior project management staff, providing guidance and expertise to facilitate their professional development.
Key Requirements:
- Ideally have a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in solar project management, with a focus on commercial projects.
- Proven experience in managing rooftop solar installations.
- Strong understanding of the commercial solar industry, including knowledge of relevant regulations, policies, and best practices.
- Ideally have experience working on projects in California, not essential.
- Must be based in Denver, CO, or willing to relocate. Hybrid working 3 days a week in office is non negotiable.
